After three days of exhibition and conferences, INTERGEO 2022 came to a successful end on the 20th of October. With 457 exhibitors from 31 countries and around 14,000 trade visitors from 102 countries, the 2022 edition represented a successful comeback after the pandemic.
The European Association of Aerial Surveying Industries (EAASI) was also present at this key international event for the geospatial community. The Secretary General, Marcos Martínez-Fernández, took this opportunity to meet with several members, observers, and stakeholders of the association.
“We are very pleased to finally see so many companies from the aerial mapping industry attending a key event like this again after the years of slowdown due to COVID. INTERGEO 2022 gave us the opportunity to meet face-to-face and engage in fruitful conversations that will lead to interesting partnerships for EAASI”, said Martínez-Fernández.
On Wednesday 19th of October, EAASI organized a social event hosted by Eurosense at their booth attended by more than 70 representatives from the industry. The members of EAASI Board and the Secretary General welcomed the attendees, highlighting the importance of working together to achieve common goals. It was a great opportunity to network while enjoying some drinks.
Last day of INTERGEO, EAASI Board held its bimonthly meeting at the Opegieka booth engaging in productive discussions and preparing the way ahead for the 2022 Partners Summit which will be celebrated in Rome (Italy) from the 30th of November to the 2nd of December. More information here.
