EAASI Welcomes Martin Sadílek as New Young Ambassador

The European Association of Aerial Surveying Industries (EAASI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Martin Sadílek from PRIMIS as the newest Young Ambassador for the Association.

Martin’s academic and professional journey reflects both technical excellence and a deep curiosity for geospatial sciences. Originally from the Czech Republic, Martin holds both a Bachelor's and a Master’s degree in Geoinformatics from Palacký University in Olomouc, where his interest in cartography, GIS, and spatial data analysis began to flourish.

Alongside his position at PRIMIS, Martin also works as a researcher at Palacký University on a project with the Department of Dialectology at the Czech Academy of Sciences, where he contributes to the development of dialect atlases.

“What fascinates me most about working with aerial surveying data is the ability to see the world from a completely unique perspective,” Martin shares. “I especially enjoy working with LiDAR, where highly accurate raw point clouds are transformed through processing and classification into usable spatial products. It’s rewarding to be part of a process that supports better decision-making, planning, and documentation across various sectors.”

As a Young Ambassador, Martin will share his experiences, engage with students and early-career professionals, and help showcase the diverse, exciting career paths within aerial surveying. His appointment strengthens EAASI’s mission to promote the sector and encourage more young talent to explore its possibilities.

EAASI encourages all member companies to put forward candidates for the Young Ambassador Program, helping to shape a vibrant, innovative future for our industry.

The European Association of Aerial Surveying Industries (EAASI) Young Ambassador Program is an initiative designed to connect with the next generation of innovators in aerial surveying.
