EAASI at INTERGEO 2026: Building Connections Across the Aerial Surveying Community
EAASI returned to INTERGEO in Munich from 15 to 18 September 2026, bringing together members, partners, students and industry professionals around the association’s growing community.
For EAASI, INTERGEO was not only an opportunity to showcase the aerial surveying industry. It was also an important moment to strengthen connections across the community and create new opportunities for members and the next generation of professionals.
A new EAASI Joint Booth
For the first time, EAASI hosted a dedicated EAASI Joint Booth (C6A104) together with three member companies: Italian Remote Sensing, PHOTOMAP and Primis.
The initiative gave visitors a dedicated place to meet the EAASI team, discover the participating companies, and learn more about the association and its activities. The Joint Booth was also an opportunity to bring the EAASI community together during the exhibition. The positive experience of this first joint booth will be built on at INTERGEO 2027, with EAASI planning an expanded EAASI Joint Booth with more participating member companies.
Connecting students with the industry
The EAASI Students Tour returned for its third year, allowing university and college students to discover the aerial surveying industry directly at INTERGEO.
This year, 27 students took part, divided into two groups so more companies could welcome students at their stands. Students came from universities including TUM, TU Berlin, the University of Stuttgart, HCU, Augsburg University, the University of Salzburg, Bochum University of Applied Sciences, and Hochschule für Technik Stuttgart.
During the tour, students visited EAASI member companies, learned about technologies and projects, and had the opportunity to speak directly with professionals working in the industry.
The format was expanded this year in response to growing interest, allowing more students to participate while keeping the visits manageable for exhibitors.
A big thank you goes to all the EAASI member companies that welcomed the students and took the time to share their work and experience.
Bringing the EAASI community together
The EAASI Networking Event on Wednesday afternoon gave members, partners, and industry colleagues another opportunity to meet during the exhibition.
The informal gathering at the EAASI Joint Booth brought people together over drinks and conversation, with a short welcome from EAASI representatives. The return of the EAASI-branded beer also added a familiar touch to the event (thanks to OPEGIEKA).
The strong engagement throughout INTERGEO reflects the growing interest in EAASI and its role in connecting the European aerial surveying community.

Looking ahead to Alicante
The EAASI Board also met during INTERGEO to finalise arrangements for the EAASI Partner Summit 2026, taking place in Alicante, Spain, from 17 to 20 November.
The Summit will provide the EAASI community with an opportunity to continue the conversations started at INTERGEO, with more time for industry discussions, knowledge sharing, collaboration and networking.
For EAASI, these opportunities to meet in person are an important part of building a connected European aerial surveying community.
INTERGEO 2026 once again brought together many of the companies, professionals and students working across the sector. For EAASI, the event was an opportunity not only to represent the industry, but to create spaces where its community could meet, exchange ideas and build new connections.
