During our last Board Meeting, it was decided to proceed with the signing of a sponsorship agreement with IGSO (International Geodetic Students Association). As a consequence, EAASI becomes a silver sponsor of the IGSM 2022 (34th International Geodetic Student Meeting) that will take place in Hannover from 6th to 12th of June 2022.
IGSM is an annual event organized by and for Geomatics students from around the world. Hundreds of representatives from at least 99 universities, mostly European, will join the event.
One of our objectives as an association is to support the development of future members of the industry and attract new talent that can become part of our teams. It is for this reason that we consider this to be a very good opportunity to start building bridges between the student community and EAASI.
As a result of these conversations with IGSO representatives, new ideas have emerged that we intend to develop together during the coming months.
