Membership Info
The Association is home to every company and independent consultant, who is involved in the generation of geodata from manned airborne platforms.
At the core of our membership are companies that operate manned aircraft and aerial surveying equipment in Europe. All industry partners are welcome to join as observers.
Be based and create employment in one of the following countries:
Albania, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom.
Members shall fulfill all the following requirements at the time of application for membership and at all times thereafter:
Private Company:
Be a privately owned, commercial company. ‘Privately owned’ means that the majority of the shares are in private hands.
Operate Survey Aircraft:
Operate¹ survey aircraft² and equipment for aerial photography, mapping and/or LiDAR purposes in one or more of the countries mentioned under point (1)
Support the goals:
The purpose of the member or member organization shall fully support the goals of the association.
Important:

Anybody who does not qualify to become a member of the Association may become an observer.

The rights and obligations of members and observers are determined by the Board of Directors and clearly communicated to all members.

Only members shall have voting rights.

The Board of Directors have full power to decide, acting on such information or evidence as it thinks fit, whether any company or organization is eligible to become member or observer.

Fee Structure
For members the determinant is the number of geospatially relevant employees of the company in and outside Europe.
The President will propose the fee-structure annually to the General Assembly for vote.
The membership fees displayed here will apply starting in 2025. These rates were approved by EAASI members during the virtual AGM held on June 11, 2024.
